...is a professional actor, director, choreographer, educator, and musician. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, he received a BFA in musical theatre from Indiana University Bloomington. After graduation, he relocated to Chicago where he worked with the Paramount Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Porchlight Music Theatre, Music Theatre Works, and Northbook Theatre for Young Audiences. Regionally, he has appeared at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Fireside Theatre, Palace Theater in the Dells, Cardinal Stage Company, Bloomington Playwrights Project, Indiana Festival Theatre, and the Round Barn Theatre. Nathan is also a director and choreographer, recently helming Disney's Newsies for South Bend Civic Theatre and Calling All Kates at Prima Theatre. Currently, he is the choir director and theatre arts instructor at South Bend's James Whitcomb Riley High School and pursuing an MA in Secondary Education from Ball State University. Nathan is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, the National Education Association, the Indiana State Teachers Association, and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographer Society.
The Drowsy Chaperone
This summer, Nathan will make his Summerfly debut as choreographer of The Drowsy Chaperone. This Tony award-winning musical will feature the talents of middle and high school students throughout the Michiana area. Performances will take place at South Bend's Clay High School, June 23-25. Nathan returns to South Bend Civic Theatre this summer to serve as choreographer and assistant director of Something Rotten. Directed by Kristina McCloskey, Something Rotten will run from July 15-31 in the Wilson Auditorium at South Bend Civic Theatre. CLICK HERE for tickets and more information.
