...is a professional actor, director, choreographer, educator, and musician. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, he received a BFA in musical theatre from Indiana University. After graduation, he relocated to Chicago where he worked with the Paramount Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Porchlight Music Theatre, Music Theatre Works, and Northbook Theatre for Young Audiences. Regionally, he has appeared at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Fireside Theatre, Palace Theater in the Dells, Cardinal Stage Company, Bloomington Playwrights Project, Indiana Festival Theatre, and the Round Barn Theatre. Nathan is also a director and choreographer, recently helming Calling All Kates at Prima Theatre, Disney's The Little Mermaid at the Round Barn Theatre, and choreographing/assistant directing The Nance for Pride Films & Plays. He is currently pursuing an MA in Secondary Education from Ball State University, where he is expected to graduate in the summer of 2022. Nathan is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographer Society.
James Whitcomb Riley High School
This spring, Nathan will join the faculty of South Bend's James Whitcomb Riley High School as their new choir and theatre arts teacher. He will also serve as the drama club sponsor, organizing and leading any after school theatrical productions. CLICK HERE for more information on Riley High School.
Following Frozen Jr., Nathan will return to South Bend Civic Theatre to direct and choreograph Newsies. Based on the classic Disney film, Newsies will run from March 25th to April 2nd, 2022 at Mishawaka's Battell Community Center. For tickets and more information, CLICK HERE.
