...is a Queer theatre artist and educator based in the Midwest. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, he received a BFA in musical theatre from Indiana University Bloomington. Following graduation, he relocated to Chicago where he performed at such theatres as the Paramount, Chicago Shakespeare, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Theatre at the Center, Porchlight, Music Theatre Works, and Northbook Theatre for Young Audiences. Regional credits include work at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Fireside, Palace in the Dells, Cardinal Stage Company, Bloomington Playwrights Project, Indiana Festival Theatre, and the Round Barn in Nappanee. Nathan is also a director and choreographer, previously helming Disney's Newsies for South Bend Civic Theatre and Calling All Kates at Lancaster's Prima Theatre. He recently obtained his MA in Secondary Education from Ball State University and now teaches theatre arts at James Whitcomb Riley High in South Bend. A strong supporter of community enrichment and public service, he currently sits on the boards of South Bend's LGBTQ Center and the South Bend Civic Theatre. Nathan is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
