As a director and choreographer, Nathan is drawn to work that entertains all ages and illuminates the complexities of our ever-evolving society. His creative process is rooted in inclusivity and reinvention, ensuring everyone is seen and heard. Nathan is dedicated to empowering all artists to create original and authentic work.

Nathan has had extensive experience in professional, community, and educational settings.  After a number of years on stage, he transitioned to the "other side of the table" and assisted on critically acclaimed productions at Theatre at the Center and Pride Films & Plays. These opportunities lead him to helm Disney's The Little Mermaid at the Round Barn Theatre in Nappanee, Indiana. He has since continued to collaborate with some of the industry's finest theatremakers at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Prima Theatre in Lancaster, Bloomington Playwrights Project, and South Bend Civic Theatre.

Nathan holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Indiana University Bloomington and an MA in Secondary Education from Ball State University. He is currently working on his MFA in Directing (with an emphasis in Musical Theatre) at Texas State University in San Marcos.
